Our 18th meeting of the year was Wednesday, November 2, 2016 at the library.  President Matt was out of town, but we were in good hands with President-Elect Whit Merrill, who presided over our meeting.  Whit attended Rotary Leadership Institute last weekend and shared his insight on the training and informational session. Today's guests were exchange student Julie Poisson and guest speaker, Julie Wittig.

Since we were meeting for the first time in November, some members brought shopping bags and old mags.  Rotarian Pete Crooker puts them to good use at the Pittsford Food Cupboard and elsewhere.

We have less than a week to go!  Peter Brown collected for Harold McAulliffe this week.  Election Night Pasta Supper is next Tuesday, November 8, 2016.  Don Henderson discussed assignments for that evening.

Remember that our next FRIDAY FELLOWSHIP – FRIDAY is on NOVEMBER 4 at Mesa Grande Taqueria in Fairport.  Mesa Grande Taqueria is a quick and casual, California-Mexican style Taqueria that offers fresh food in a fast-paced environment. Burritos are their specialty, but you can enjoy tacos, quesadillas, nachos, salads and more.  Come out and support a Taste sponsor.

There was a sign-up sheet for Saints Place for this coming Saturday, November 5.  Most likely, we will be organizing another apartment for a refugee family.  Thanks to Bob Vukosic, Craig Kunkle and Jeanne Strazzabosco who have volunteered so far.  A few more members would be a plus.
