November 19 Meeting Highlights
Alice Swett spent this past July in the Democratic Republic of the Congo supporting a theatre project with teenagers who were former soldiers, or survivors of sexual abuse or street children. She then spent a few days in Rwanda visiting the family of one of the former soldiers. She will share some of her experiences and show pictures.
Alice is a proud 1984 graduate of Pittsford Sutherland High School. She has spent her career as an educator focused primarily on civic engagement for positive social change, most recently with high school students through a program she managed for 16 years for the city of Boulder, Colorado.
