Thanks to Jerry Elman, who was able to schedule our guest speaker, Allison (Alli) O'Malley, Executive Director Resolve of Greater Rochester at the last moment.  Resolve is dedicated to intervening and preventing domestic and sexual violence against women. They believe that by engaging women and men, they can develop and deliver innovative, community-centered solutions that promote safety and equality so that women and girls are free to realize their full potential.

Today's "Get to Know your Fellow Rotarian is" Luke Stewart, who grew up in Maine, though, his family is of Scottish origin. He graduated with a degree in finance at Boston College. Luke wishes to continue serving the community through the Rotary Club.

With the "Taste of Pittsford" coming up in less than a three weeks, Jerry Elman, Jim Murphy and Pam Wright updated us with the "behind the scenes" prep-work.  Jim is asking everyone to email friends, family and acquaintances who may purchase tickets online.  Simply Crepes, a regular participant of "Taste" will not be able to join us this year. Fortunately, we have some new participants.  Jim and Jerry are predicting over two dozen restaurants and wineries this year. Jerry Gambino was not able to join us today, but Bruce collected wine bottles which will be auctioned off at the event.
