ImageOur meeting today started with a game of "Who am I?" with Craig Kunkle taking home a platter as the grand prize winner for the first one to guess that he is Jacques Cousteau.  Jerry Gambino came in second as Adolf Hitler.

Visiting Rotarian KL Nathani briefly took the floor to talk about his hometown of New Delhi and some of the projects which they have completed and currently working on.  After our meeting, he discussed possible joint New Delhi/Pittsford projects with Jim Murphy.  That evening, Jim forward an email from Rotary Club of New Delhi President, Rtn. Pankaj Rai:

Greetings from India!
This evening, I was so excited to learn from our senior member PP Rtn. Nathani about his experience at your club meeting that
I wanted to write immediately.  I must again appreciate the trust and brotherhood of Rotary which brings completely strangers
so close that memories are created. It really doesn’t matter what part of the world we are in, Rotarians are very welcoming to each other.

But, I must still express our sincere thanks to President Rtn. Grace Soong, to you and to other members of Rotary Club of

Pittsford for such a wonderful reception extended to Rtn. Nathani. I don’t have the email of Rtn. Grace Soong so please
forward my mail to her.

It will be an honor to explore working with your club on a matching grant project. Do let us know your areas of interest.

ImageOur guest key-note speaker, Steve Wilterdink talked about long-term care.

Long-term Care insurance provides benefits in the event of a long-term illness or injury. Owning a long-term care insurance policy also provides you choices in deciding where or how you receive care.

Rotarian Steve resides in Pittsford with his wife, Pam. Steve is a financial advisor at Northwest Mutual.  In addition to Rotary, Steve is a member of the American Red Cross-Greater Rochester Chapter, Financial Development Committee. His hobby is Civil War history and is also in the United States Marine Corps Reserve.
