A Thank you Letter from Pat Mallery to Rotarians who assisted at the Pasta Palooza:

I want to take this opportunity to offer my heartfelt thanks to all of you for donating your time, talent and energy to the Interact Pastapalooza dinner Wednesday night.  As you know, the money they raised will be used to help fund participation by athletes in the upcoming 2012 Special Olympics State Winter Games on February 22 & 23.  Beyond that, however, the annual Pastapalooza dinner is also a learning experience for Interactors in planning and executing a small business.  And while the success or failure of the event is to a large degree on their shoulders, the fact remains they just couldn't do it without the assistance of adult volunteers.

The presence and presentations of several Special Olympics teams along with wonderful musical entertainment by the Sutherland String Quartet and C4ROC made this year's dinner really special.  I hope you were able to hear some or all of it while you were working.  And, by the way, all the food that remained following the dinner will be donated to the Pittsford Food Cupboard, Pittsford Senior Center and Salem United Nutrition Center.

Thank you again for helping to make this year's Pastapalooza a success.  I personally appreciate your support and I know the Interact Leadership Teams feel the same.
